It's Vegan friendly, it's Gluten Free and it's the perfect Dairy-Free milk for cookies, cereals, crepes, granola, lattes, and anything that requires milk as an ingredient.
This recipe makes roughly 4 cups worth, but feel free to dilute by adding one extra cup of water to make more milk, or reduce by one less cup of water in order to make your thicker milk shakes, as needed.

PRIMARY INGREDIENTS
1 cup Raw Macadamia Nuts
3 cups Water
OPTIONAL ADD-INS
Either 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup, or 2 tablespoon of Raw Honey, or 2 tablespoon Brown Sugar or 1 whole date, pitted (all to add sweetness)
1 pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or for chocolate milk, add 2 Tbsp cocoa
DIRECTIONS
1. Soak the Macadamia Nuts in water for 30 minutes to 1 hour before blending with a high speed blender. Blend for 2 minutes until you have a smooth and creamy consistency. Your blend is a success when small pieces of nuts are not visible.
2. If desired, strain with fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth to remove the macadamia nut pulp. Squeeze pulp to remove the most amount of liquid. Pulp can be used for cereals, oatmeal or smoothies.
3. Your strained Macadamia Milk is ready for use in your latte or can be drank straight cold.
Additionally, you can store left over milk in a container in the fridge for up to 3 days. If you desire up to 3 months of freshness, then you can store one cup portions in freezer friendly containers. Once frozen, remember to thaw overnight in the fridge and shake well before use.
OTHER IDEAS:
For Perfect Smoothies, Ice Creams or Milk Shakes. Just remember to use 2 cups water of water instead of 3 cups. Less water leads to a thicker consistency. Throw in your 1/4 cup of banana, strawberries, dates or any of your favorite fruit and enjoy :-)
